I'm Jon
I'm currently a 3rd decade traffic signal technician.
When I first started my journey in the traffic signal industry, I was lucky enough to have a few "ol'-timers" help me. Over the years, I have found that those "ol-timers" are hard to find anymore.
Why? Where do I begin?
Overwhelm, salary, elusive signal education, lack of support from management ...
All produce constant churn.
When that occurs, its hard to cultivate an adequate learning environment.
I've worked for several traffic employers over the years, but it was when I worked with a traffic signal distribution company that I had my epiphany. We covered a very large region but I found that the customers we served all had the same questions, concerns, and fears about traffic signals...
And This Came From The Traffic Signal Maintainers!
The issues could usually be traced back to one of the previously stated reasons.
I decided to create a platform to provide traffic signal education and support to those individuals that need help or with traffic signals.
